YOGURT SOUP

Ingredients:
 |
1/2 cup rice |
 |
2 cups water |
 |
1/3 cup green lentils |
 |
3/4 cup thick plain yogurt |
 |
3 tablespoon flour |
 |
1 egg |
 |
3 tablespoon sunflower or
vegetable oil |
 |
2 cloves garlic (optional) |
 |
about 2 teaspoons dried mint |
 |
salt to taste |
Directions:
-
In a medium pot cook rice with 2
cup of water until very tender. Have ready about 4 cups of hot water.

In another small pan cook
lentils with enough water (about 1+1/2 cups) until tender and drain the water.
Add it to the cooked rice.

In a medium bowl mix yogurt, egg
and flour. Add little bit of hot water to make a thin consistency and
mix. Pour slowly to the rice and lentil mixture while mixing it all the time.

Add oil, whole two cloves of
garlic (if you wish) and enough hot water to make a desired consistency.
Simmer about 10 minutes.

Take out the garlic and add salt
and dried mint. Serve hot or warm with crusty bread.
